WEDDING CEREMONY & RECEPTION

WHAT TO WEAR: Garden semi-formal attire. What does this mean, you ask? Cocktail or long dresses for the ladies, suits or sport jackets and trousers for the guys. Most of the wedding will be outside and on grass, and we recommend ladies wear wedge or stacked heels. (And, after an extensive wedding shoe search, Caroline now has an encyclopedic knowledge of the best garden-appropriate styles- feel free to reach out for tips!) Martha's Vineyard gets chilly at night, so ladies may want to bring a light sweater or wrap.

TRANSPORT: We have shuttle transport for wedding guests to the wedding departing from the following locations:

  • The Island Inn & Summercamp Hotel in Oak Bluffs: Shuttles board at 2:15 pm
  • Vineyard Square & Kelley House Hotels in downtown Edgartown: Shuttles board at 2:30 pm

Transportation will be provided back to hotels and rental houses throughout the evening.

Please note that the wedding and reception will be an adults-only party. If you are in need of a babysitter, please reach out to us for recommendations!
